Bimafy

Alvi started working in the insurance industry for Green Delta Insurance - the largest general insurance in Bangladesh - soon after graduation. Before that, he had already worked for Google Bus Bangladesh, British Council, Mutual Trust Bank and Quantum Consumer Solutions. Starting as a Trainee Executive to activate national insurance education, he was later transferred to retail & SME research department. That is when they were already cooking the idea of an online insurance marketplace which prompted his later switch to V3 Communications in 2018, a wing of Bongobd as a Brand Manager, from where he later on co-founded Bimafy.com in 2019.

After graduating from North South University, he started his career at Daraz Bangladesh where he used to manage the operations side of the business. After achieving steep growth, he moved on to Standard Chartered Bangladesh where he used to manage a diversified pool of enterprise customers. Later on, he joined Daraz again to lead the operations team and ensured the best customer satisfaction in the e-commerce industry. Then he moved on to Telenor Health to lead the business operations and rolled out multiple successful digital products, managed the microinsurance portfolio and enhanced the overall profitability of the company. Currently he is one of the co-founders of Bimafy.com and acts as the Chief Operating Officer.

After completing his graduation, Arif started his career at Paramount Insurance as an underwriter where he learned the mechanics of insurance products, and underwrote different types of risks. Then he moved on to join Green Delta Insurance as a senior underwriter and took over the enterprise health insurance portfolio, along with government backed SSK projects, retail and SME risk portfolio, etc. He also possesses vast experience in telematics, customer analytics, BTL activation and engagements, value chain analysis and development, etc. Currently, he is acting as the co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Bimafy.com.

Shibu started his career as a frontend developer at CyberEye RLSS (Hyderabad, India). After learning and gaining practical experience in the technology businesses, he moved back to Bangladesh to join as a technical trainer at the LICT Project under the Bangladesh Computer Council where he trained and developed numerous young people who want to become IT professionals. Before founding Bimafy.com, he used to work as a PHP developer at Radius Themes, one of the renowned tech outsourcing companies in Bangladesh. His knowledge and skills include full-stack app development using various languages and frameworks, understanding use cases, developing engaging user journeys and experience etc.
